i have really really really dark dark dark brown hair (almost black, but its not) and i had orangy highlights (it looked good though) and i dyed my hair bright auburn blonde (it was red) and it came out really good except it came out really nice one my highlights and my roots. and i wanna re-dye it cuz alot of my hair is still brown. i dye it on saturday. how long should i wait till i dye it again? it recamends 4-6 weeks but i was wondering if i could do it in like 2 or 3 weeks, and if i did what would happen? but its not like i dont like it it looks real nice but its still part brown in the back and red on like the out sides of my hair. so when can i re-dye my hair?Red Hair Dye?
I've made lots of mistakes with dye before and i've been able to dye it several days after to several weeks after with no awful problems, but what really matters is if you know how much your hair can take. If you're willing to put up with some damage to your hair, it'll be okay if you dye it sooner rather than later. If you'd rather your hair stay particularly healthy, wait. I'm not sure how much colors go for professionally because i dye my hair at home, but if you're very concerned, it's probably best to go to someone who knows what they're doing.Red Hair Dye?
I get my hair colored at a salon and the colorist always says if you need an adjustment to the color wait 2 weeks then come back also most store bought hair color have a 1800 help # on the instructions im sure they can tell you if its safe to do it sooner then the recommended 4 to 5 weeks
well i dyed my hair black, then a week and a half later, i dyed it black again, coz there were brown patches. But mine was going lighter. Go to your hairdressers, and ask their opinion, unless a hairdresser on here can help. Wait till you find out for definate though. My friend has had her hair bleached, twice, so far, and she had it done quite close together, time wise. Her hair feels dead, and like barbie hair. So be careful. But enjoy the hair! =]
