I dyed my hair pink/red colour the other day and there must of been a bit left on my hair after washing it because my sofa now has a pink tinge in parts on it. :/ its not a permanent hair colour. its directions semi colour. Is there anything I can do to remove this? It says you cant remove hair dye from leather on websites but it's not a permanent hair dye so i'm hoping there's something I can do?How to remove red hair dye on cream leather sofa?
This will depend greatly on the type of leather you have. If it is an aniline style leather (one that absorbs moisture

Dye transfer can be tricky to remove as the longer it is on the leather and the more agressive the dye the harder it will be to remove. You need to try Maxi Cleaner (LTT) which was specifically formulated for this problem and if this does not remove it then no leather cleaner will and you will need to call a qualified leather technician who will have stronger solvents that he will use and then recolour/refinish whatever is necessary.
Using a good quality leather protector (Ultra Protect is the strongest one on the market) is imperative on a pale colour leather to help guard against this sort of problem as all clothing etc will give off a certain amount of dye as the body sweats and so this problem will only continue. Using a protector means the dye will sit on the surface and then can be cleaned off easily with a cleaner or maintenance product
Baby wipes will damage the finish on the leather so shoudl not be used and hairspray will do the same. Using household products and 'hints and tips' are the biggest cause of damage to leather that technicians see - much more expensive to put right in the long run. Nail varnish remover will damage the finish on the leather if it removes the dye as it is a strong solvent. If this happens and the finish is not replaced the leather will deteriorate in that area.

I'm glad you have put pink in your hair - pink is great! Lol
You could try nail varnish remover - just dab it with cotton wool - it shouldn't damage the leather.
Saddle soap, just keep washing it, it should fade, but usually it does not come off...
if this is your mom's couch, then hide for awhile. The guy that said saddle soap is correct - it cleans any leather.
