You can't. I take it you meant to say red hair tint (dye is used on fabric, not hair). All tints are made to create the colour they have in them. You cannot change it without going back to the factory and starting over. Choose another colour preparation. Use this only to get dark red hair colour. Anything you try to do to attempt to change it will be disappointing to say the least.
Without knowing the present hair colour, the condition of your hair, and what exactly you meant by ';dark brown with carmel highlights';, it is nearly impossible to make any recommendations.
