I want bright red hair too. It is red at the moment, just a darker red. The easist way would be to dye your hair a lighter colour and then dye over it with red. I used L'Orial Paris, it seemed to do the job.

What is a good red hair dye?
I have medium brownish hair and I want to dye it bright red. I managed to get it the perfect colour once before but I can't remember what dye I used and I think my hair might have been lighter in the first place. Whenever I've tried to do it recently its turned out too dark. Does anyone know of any dyes that would give me a good bright red colour?What is a good red hair dye?
