Can I mix light copper brown with bright red hair dye to get a deeper red copper brown colour?

The colours are - light copper brown 5.4 and red 006 (this is pretty bright I think). Same brand (the hairdresser ones you mix with developer.)

They are the only two colours I have here and I really want to dye my hair! Ideally I would want a redder looking copper brown..Can I mix light copper brown with bright red hair dye to get a deeper red copper brown colour?
Ahh this isn't good...Don't try this yourself! There should be colors like that at your hairdressers look for warm colors. Can I mix light copper brown with bright red hair dye to get a deeper red copper brown colour?
006 must be a intensifier as it does not have a reflex, it sounds like nouvelle as the 006 in that is a intense red.

Thus mixing it will achieve a redder colour been a ';6'; Depending on the on instructions depends on mixing ratio usually only a few ml of the ';6'; will be enough. Also be awear of the developer your using. if its too strong the colour pigments can be washed out by the bleach and you can end up with a pink result with orange reflex from the copper!

I would read the packet on the box and see if they recomend a a mixing ratio and add 1/3-1/4 intense color creme'

Maybe a patch test might be in order! If your not confident, Please remember to mix the same ratio and only mix a tiny amount as once mixed hair colour goes after a period of time. so you cant use the same pot to test then colour.

Also be awear that red is a very quick fader so it will fade out orange as its a copper reflex and red always goes strawberry blondish. Red colour creme is also a big stainer on tiles skin clothes etc so just watch what you do with waiting.
