Can red hair dye be the cause of my bad skin?

I have had my hair dyed red for a couple years now, and ever since I have had horrible problems with me skin. I just not connected the dots that is got worse when I started wearing my hair down a lot. I experimented, and sure enough, when I wear my hair down, my face breaks out. Will changing the color of my hair help me, or am I just cursed with having to cut all my hair off?Can red hair dye be the cause of my bad skin?
Believe it or not, I had the same problem when I started dying my hair black so I went to the dermatologist and she told me that it was actually bc of the shampoos/conditioners I was using. Like I had switched to a shampoo for color-treated hair and those are the worsttt ones apparently bc they have the most fragrance in them. They're proven to make the skin on your face, neck, and back breakout bc they clog your pores...Herbal Essences, Garnier Fructis, Tresemme, and brands like that from drug stores always have lots of fragrance. Try buying natural shampoos and conditioners for a while %26amp;you'll see a huge difference in your skin. Trust me.Can red hair dye be the cause of my bad skin?
Possibly. Beleive it or not, a lot of people are allergic to red dye, not just with hair dye. That's why some schools in particular are really picky about home made foods and stuff, because some kids are allergic to the red FOOD dye too. I'd certainly change the color, to at least see if that's the problem. Which it sounds like it is.
First off, AWESOME hair color choice xD I've dyed mine red for the past couple year too and I do have skin problems (i'm a teenager :P). BUT I dyed it blond about a year ago and nothing's really changed with my skin. It could be the brand of color you're using ^-^
