Don't wash your hair in washing up liquid!!!! You will cause yourself no end of problems with your natural oil production and will find you will have greasy hair for a good month or so after! The best thing is to wash your hair with normal shampoo (make sure you're not using a moisturising or colour protect shampoo) and use a lightweight conditioner (don't abandon the use of conditioner completely because your hair will not thank you for it!) Just wash your hair every other day (if you wash it everyday to try to shift the dye then try to be minimal with your product usage so as not to over work your oil glands) and really rinse that hair! If you don't want to damage your hair, you're going to have to allow a good couple of weeks for the red to really fade, but i think with a little patience you'll achieve this very quickly. :-)How long does it take red hair dye to fade?
Lots of heat stylers like blow dryers etc, lemon juice then sit in the sun for a bit, (the lemon juice opens the cuticle, letting the red hair dye molecules out).
Wash hair in washing up liquid a few times.
Hair will feel dry but the red will fade
